| 活动说明 | 【主题】：Big Data Analytics in Healthcare: Opportunities and Challenges 【课程介绍Healthcare informatics research has been growing in an increasing rate in the recent years. In particular, the biomedical and healthcare research fields are producing an increasingly large amount of digital healthcare and medical data. By healthcare data mining and knowledge discovery with incorporating multiple data sources including electronic health records, genomic, pharmaceutical databases and national health insurance research database, big data analytics s can provide new opportunities to improve health outcomes for populations. Because of the huge volume of the heterogeneous data from various sources, the semantic and data integration has become an inevitable problem in healthcare data analytics research. Different healthcare providers may use different electronic health record systems. Sharing and integrating data from different systems can be challenging. Yet despite these challenges, the promise of big data in healthcare remains.
